Refund and Cancellation Policy

Effective date: September 18, 2026

Daycare Profit Engine is supplied by Profit Plan HQ. Contact: support@profitplanhq.com. This policy applies to the hosted monthly subscription purchased through Paddle.

1. First-payment refund offer

If you decide the software is not right for you, request a refund within 14 calendar days of your first successful subscription payment. We will authorize a full refund of that initial payment through Paddle and arrange cancellation of future renewals. You may use the software during this period; ordinary use does not disqualify you from this voluntary offer.

The offer applies once to the initial subscription purchase, not automatically to every monthly renewal or repeat purchase. It does not limit any more favorable right provided by law or Paddle's applicable terms. A request received within the window remains timely even if it is processed later. Deliberate fraud or repeated manipulation of this voluntary offer may result in denial of the voluntary benefit, but not denial of mandatory rights.

2. Monthly renewals and cancellation

Subscriptions renew monthly at the price accepted at checkout unless canceled. You can cancel through the Paddle customer portal linked in your purchase email, through our billing page's subscription management option when available, or by requesting help at support@profitplanhq.com. You can also use https://paddle.net.

Cancel before the displayed renewal date to prevent the next charge. Ordinary cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period, with access continuing until then. It does not automatically refund the current period. Outside the first-payment offer, we do not ordinarily give refunds merely for unused time or a change of mind after renewal, except where required by law or Paddle's applicable terms. Paddle may separately consider discretionary refunds under its own policy.

Deleting local files, signing out, or resetting your plan does not cancel recurring billing. If you want account deletion and subscription cancellation, request both.

3. Errors and problems with the service

Contact us promptly if you were charged twice, charged after a cancellation that should already have taken effect, paid without receiving access, or experienced a material defect that prevents the advertised service from working. Include a receipt reference and a brief description; do not send full payment card details.

We will investigate and work with Paddle to correct billing errors and provide a repair, refund, or other remedy as required by the circumstances and applicable law. Statutory defect, non-delivery, and billing-error rights are not limited by our 14-day voluntary offer. If the issue cannot be resolved with us, you may contact Paddle directly.

4. How to request a refund

Email support@profitplanhq.com with the subject Daycare Profit Engine refund request, your purchase email, the transaction or receipt reference if available, and the payment you want refunded. A reason is helpful but is not required for our eligible first-payment offer. If you cannot locate a reference, contact us or Paddle for help identifying the purchase.

You can also use the support link in your Paddle receipt or visit Paddle buyer support. Paddle handles the payment refund. Approved refunds normally return to the original payment method where possible; timing depends on Paddle and the payment provider. Any mandatory legal deadline remains applicable. We do not impose an additional administrative refund fee. Your bank's currency conversion may affect the amount shown in your local currency.

5. Effect of a refund

A full refund ends the paid entitlement associated with the refunded subscription, and future renewals will be canceled as part of that resolution. Export important planning data before requesting the refund where possible; contact us for help retrieving your own plan if access has ended. A refund does not automatically erase account or transaction records; deletion is covered in the Privacy Policy.

If a partial refund is agreed, we will confirm its effect on access and future renewals and ensure that any remaining service or remedy owed to you is provided. Contact us if access changes unexpectedly after an adjustment.

6. Mandatory rights and payment disputes

This policy supplements the Paddle Refund Policy and does not reduce any mandatory consumer, withdrawal, cancellation, or payment-dispute rights. Where the law or Paddle's applicable terms provide greater protection, that protection applies. Country-specific eligibility and any valid express consent requirements are assessed under those rules; merely reading this policy or signing in is not an automatic waiver of withdrawal rights.

You may contact us or Paddle to resolve a billing problem, but this is not a condition for exercising lawful rights with your bank or payment provider. We do not charge a penalty for a good-faith complaint or lawful dispute.

7. Changes

We may update this policy prospectively. The policy accepted at the time of a payment applies to that payment, together with any mandatory rights. Updates do not remove an existing refund entitlement.
